Thanks to their incredible music that continues to inspires people and by also motivating me to continuing working on this personal project. I remember spending thousands and thousands of hours editing theses clips. The more I worked on this project the more I appreciate how much work it takes to make a great piece of art. Some of the music that I used for the video are just music that I enjoy listening to and has made me feel that magic exist. There are millions of music out there and one day I will compose my own music so I can complete my personal project the way I envision it.
Thanks for taking the time to view my life and my journey of magic. Pizza Hut was where it all started. From one simple trick that made a stranger smile and made them question what happen, brought the question that I must ask myself. Why do people love magic? What is magic? As time went by and the magic tricks began to take form. I was consumed to know more and more in the field of illusions and sleight of hand magic. I started performing simple tricks for people while serving as a waiter. The more I perform the more I was hooked and it slowly grew and expanded, therefore I was forced into expanding my knowledge of magic. Later I was fortunate to have found 2 magic mentors in my life that taught me sleight of hand magic with coins and cards.
I realized later that there was more than just skill involved with magic but it was an art form to express the artist himself. Therefore I created my business cards and designed the art work, stories for each trick and started my own personal business. Giving out money was one of my dream and having a reason to give it out is as important. Designing the 100 dollar business card gave me an opportunity to bring a smiles and laughter to people and performing the trick created wonders. Leaving a question mark in their mind. People were hiring me to perform for kids shows, birthdays, weddings, corporate events, night clubs, and other private parties and now 9 years later, my true life story has been created in time inspired by that dream that existed in my heart since I was a kid.
This project took up a big part of my life because of trying to created something different and unique to represent magic. Everything you see in these videos are base on sleight of hand magic and is not any witch craft or dark magic. This is just my art, my mind, and what I believe is magic. Life is magic, and dreams are magical therefore the journey is the magic. Do not miss out on life magical experience because it only happen once. Believe it or not, fate has written the future already. How about free will of choice? Do we have choices? You have to answer that yourself. I believe that the journey is more important than the destinations.

I want to share the biggest reason why I created theses videos. For one it was my dream to make my own movie about myself and about the question of life? Movies had always been a big part of my life and dreaming of working on a movie about myself was just an illusion in my mind. Growing up in Vancouver, raised as a Canadian and living in the land of the free. Living in this complicated and complex society which is full of people from all walks of life. Living in a world of computers, 3d games, and to all the amazing break through in science such as the string theory. Living in 20th centuries, movies are being made right before our eyes like frozen character of life.
Follow your dreams to the end and may our dreams cross path with each other one day. During this time of creating these videos, from the ideas, to the designs, to filming it, and finding the right music that fits the feeling of magic. Movies are only illusion frozen in time so enjoy the videos and rewind back in time to my moment of my life flashing by like a character in a movie.
As you might know by now that Don Wand is just my stage name that I use while performing magic. My real name is not important, it will remain a mystery FOREVER!!! NONE of the people you see in these videos are actors and they are all but a memory in my mind that once existed in my life for that brief moment in time. Nowadays movies takes millions of dollars to making a really great movie. From the custom music to original story board to the final product which takes time, money and many talented people putting together a masterpiece that will be enjoy throughout time. While I was crafting and editing my videos, I stumbled upon many questions that really concern me?
